Veefriends raises $50M in seed round

Gary Vaynerchuk, who is better known by his nickname “Gary Vee,” started VeeFriends in May 2021. He plans to use the seed money to grow the NFT’s intellectual property (IP) on all the physical and digital platforms that host the 283 VeeFriends characters.

The business also wants to hire more people. Each cartoon animal in the collection was hand-drawn by Vaynerchuk, who gave each doddle-style piece a human trait like tolerance, patience, or honesty. There are 17 of them on a special edition of the UNO card game. Each NFT gives its owner access to the VeeCon conference. The first VeeCon was held in Minneapolis in May of this year.
