Another phishing scam has hit the community of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This time, NFT influencer Zeneca’s social media accounts were the target.
The hacked Twitter and Discord accounts led to a fake airdrop for the influencer’s “Zen Academy Founders Pass,” which tricked users who didn’t know what was going on into linking their wallets. No one knows how much damage the attack did.
The hack is thought to be part of a larger attack on the NFT community, which was initially mentioned on Monday in a tweet by Yuga Labs, the founder of the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
