Early on Wednesday, Twitter shut down nine accounts that were promoting nonfungible tokens (NFTs) on the Solana (SOL) ecosystem without any proper reason. The move comes just before this Friday’s launch of the highly anticipated y00ts NFT collection, which is a follow-up to DeGods, the most popular NFT collection on Solana. Soon after the suspension, the head of communications at the Solana Foundation, Austin Federa, said:
“Hey, Twitter! Please bring back @y00tlist. Until then, I’ve stopped spending money on ads for the Foundation. Twitter has to bring them back or give a good reason for suspending them.”
