Twitch updated its Extension Guidelines on May 17 to ban any links or referral codes to NFT-type websites that come from Twitch streamer extensions. This was done to cut down on the number of NFT-related links.
Under the Content Policy section of Twitch’s Extensions Guidelines and Policies, the new entry, 4.11, says: “Extensions may not display, implement, include, or interact with any non-fungible token” (NFT). Extensions can’t include off-site links or referral codes to NFT sites, and they can’t make it easier to make, list, trade, or cash out NFTs.
