The Treasury Minister of the United Kingdom has entrusted the Royal Mint with designing an NFT as “an icon of Her Majesty’s Treasury’s forward-looking attitude” to cryptocurrencies and blockchains. The idea was unveiled in a speech by John Glen, the Treasury’s Economic Secretary, who stated additional details on the mint’s mint will be arriving “very shortly” during a summit.
