Tencent News’ NFT marketplace, which opened in January, was shut down because the company needed to “adjust” and “transform” the business.
Local media reported that Wang Shimu, the former head of Tencent News, left the news division in May and was moved to Tencent’s NFT arm Huanhe because Tencent News wasn’t doing well.
