Jay Chou (Zhu Jiéln), a Taiwanese pop sensation, disclosed to his 7.1 million Instagram followers that his Bored Ape image, from one of the world’s most prominent NFT series, had been taken in what appeared to be a phishing attack.
The musician says he initially mistook a phone call from a buddy who delivered the news for an April Fool’s Day prank. “Then I checked and found it was truly gone,” he wrote in a Chinese-language post that included the hashtag “Everyone, please be cautious.”
