The crypto community on Twitter brought up several problems with OpenRarity, the new protocol for ranking rarity used by NFT marketplace OpenSea.
A few days later, the NFT marketplace changed the way it ranked things. Right now, NFT listings show the “rarity rank” as well as the rank. The NFT marketplace has also added a trait count to its ranking system and a way to sort items with unique features before adding any other information that raises their rank.
