After buying dotswoosh.eth for 19.72 ETH, or about $35,000, Nike’s Web3 branch, RTFKT, now owns 10 Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains.
It’s still not clear why Nike bought the dotswoosh logo on Friday. But, as some Twitter users have pointed out, Nike may plan to use the domain to give out ENS subdomains in the future. ENS subdomains are run by the person who owns the main domain name.
