Axios reports that Glass, a video platform that lets creators sell their videos as NFTs, has raised $5 million in a seed round. TCG Crypto, which is part of The Chernin Group and is a large crypto investment fund, and 1kx, which is a crypto fund for early-stage companies, both led the round.
At the moment, big video platforms like YouTube and TikTok only give creators a portion of the ad revenue that their videos generate based on views.
Glass’s model lets viewers decide how much a video is a worth based on how good it is.
