The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced that it is suspending the minting of its new non-fungible token collection, nicknamed – The Association – after the discovery of a significant flaw.
BlockSec, a blockchain security company, reported that it has discovered a severe flaw that might have enabled a bad actor to mint a huge number of NFTs without having to pay any tokens. The major cause of the problem, according to the company’s official blog post, is the inappropriate usage of signature verification.
