Krafton, a gaming company, announced Tuesday the release of artificial intelligence-based virtual human characters that will appear on the metaverse platform as hyperreal game show hosts and virtual friends. According to the company, the virtual human characters have human-like skin and hair, as well as facial expressions and eye movements. A female figure squints in Krafton’s virtual human demo video, revealing genuine wrinkles on her nose, forehead, and around her eyes.
