Instagram tried out a non-fungible token (NFT) display on its IG feed a while ago. But only US NFT collectors who have bought digital items can do this, and there are no fees for sharing collectibles on Instagram. Now, with Instagram’s “See in AR update,” users will be able to build new AR experiences.
This will give creators more ways to show off virtual objects and communicate with communities. Users must first connect to their digital wallet before they can choose which NFT they want to share on Instagram.
Simply put, digital tokens can be shown on social media sites where 3D objects can be experienced in the real world. They can show each other their two-dimensional NFTs and feel like they own them.
