Elon Musk sent an email to his employees this week talking about his idea for “Twitter 2.0” and how it would require “long hours” and be “high intensity” and “extremely hardcore.” The executive also asked employees to sign a form online by Thursday at 5 p.m. Employees were told that if they didn’t sign the form, they would get three months of severance pay.
As soon as the deadline passed, hundreds of employees posted goodbye messages and salute emojis on Twitter to show that they had turned down Musk.
