After submitting a trademark application that includes NFTs, cryptos, and the Metaverse, the luxury brand Hermès is laying the groundwork for its move into Web3.0. The trademark includes software that can be downloaded and used to view, store, and manage virtual goods, digital collectibles, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.
Along with this, it registered trademarks for “retail shop services displaying virtual goods,” “offering an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of virtual goods,” “hosting fashion and trade events in virtual, augmented, or mixed reality environments,” and “representing virtual goods.” A new application for a trademark has been made for the NFT Metabirkins collection.
