GameStop seems to be ignoring the whole “crypto winter” thing and going ahead with the launch of what the company calls a “public beta” of its own NFT marketplace.
You can buy, sell, and make NFTs on the platform right now. You can look through more than 200 collections, and the marketplace lists more than 53,000 NFTs. The art I’ve seen so far seems pretty typical for the NFT. For example, in just a few minutes of looking around, I’ve already seen some weird collections with cat and monkey themes.
Unsurprisingly, you can manage your digital assets with the newly released GameStop Wallet. You can also use WalletConnect and MetaMask. And not just anyone can make an NFT on the platform. Those who want to do so will have to fill out an application.
