Even though it has only been open for less than two weeks, GameStop’s NFT marketplace is already getting into trouble. A piece of art called “Falling Man” was found by Web3 is Going Great to be one of the NFTs on the platform. It’s clear that the NFT is talking about one of the most famous photos from the early 21st century.
Richard Drew, a photojournalist for the Associated Press, took a series of pictures on the morning of September 11, 2001, including “The Falling Man.” At least 100 people are thought to have died while the towers were still standing. That day, at least 2,753 of them died inside the buildings or nearby.
