Quentin Tarantino and Miramax have settled a lawsuit over Pulp Fiction-inspired non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. According to Deadline, a new court filing shows that both sides will ask the court to end the case in the coming weeks. They also gave a joint statement.
Last year, when NFTs were all the rage, Tarantino released his NFT lineup and said that each one would reveal a “secret” about his 1994 movie. Tarantino said that the NFTs were tied to media from the screenplay, which he still owned. However, Miramax sued, saying that the NFTs were a “emerging technology” that it could legally profit from.
