State Street Global Advisors, the asset-management firm that commissioned the statue in 2017, has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the statue’s creator, Kristen Visbal, for allegedly copying her own work. The statue depicts a young girl assuming Superman’s iconic stance as she faces off against Wall Street’s charging bull. In order to finance her claimed $3 million legal fees, she has chosen to double down and sell even more “Fearless Girl” copies and NFTs.
