The person who made the popular meme token Dogecoin (DOGE) is turning down an offer to promote an unofficial offshoot crypto project in exchange for digital assets worth millions of dollars.
Billy Markus, co-founder of the crypto asset with a dog theme, turned down an offer of 10 billion DOGE, which was worth about $14 million at the time this was written, to promote Dogechain, a blockchain project that aims to connect Dogecoin and Web3.
