Burberry And H&M Discuss Brand Loyalty In Virtual World

    This week’s 24 hour metaverse event brought together fashion experts to explore the digital future. Meta Festival was organized and co-founded by worldwide digital companies Dept and Journee. Tech developers and digital designers discussed loyalty and involvement in the virtual environment. Several hundred people watched Dept’s live feeds on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Twitch.

    Oliver Lange, H&Mbeyond’s head of innovation, and Timo Wolf, innovation lead, along with Bradford Bird, partnerships and collaboration at The Fabricant, discussed the importance of building a welcoming space and the need for education to bring more people into the industry to help develop this new environment. Sylvain Langrand, Burberry’s global VP digital product, and Thibault Launay, CEO of Exclusible, also highlighted the need to create the metaverse gradually and thoughtfully during a trend discussion. Each panelist emphasized the necessity to perceive space as a third existence alongside the physical world.
