Bahamian police have just taken Sam Bankman-Fried into custody.
In a statement, Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis said, “Both the Bahamas and the United States want to make sure that all FTX employees who may have broken the law or betrayed the public’s trust are held accountable.”
“While the US pursues criminal charges against SBF personally,” the statement said, “The Bahamas will continue its own regulatory and criminal investigations into the collapse of FTX, with the ongoing cooperation of its law enforcement and regulatory colleagues in the US and internationally.”
