ApeCoin (APE), the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem’s Ethereum-based token, has gone up 15.7% in the last 24 hours and is now trading at $5.19, its highest price in two weeks, according to CoinMarketCap.
While the recent price movement of APE can be seen as part of a larger market recovery that pushed the price of Bitcoin above $20,000, it can also be seen as a separate event. More specifically, the Ape Foundation recently laid out its ideas for a new way for the project’s decentralized autonomous organization to choose its leaders (DAO).
