Andreessen Horowitz has launched a record $4.5 billion fundraising for its fourth cryptocurrency fund.
Chris Dixon, an a16z partner and one of their most outspoken Web3 advocates, stated of the fund:
“We believe we have entered the golden age of web3.” Programmable blockchains have matured significantly, and a wide range of apps have reached tens of millions of users.”
A16z has already raised more than $7.6 billion for crypto investments.
