After a person was hurt Tuesday night while opening a package at a virtual reality center at Northeastern University in Boston, police are looking into what seems to be a mail bomb attack.
The explosion happened in Holmes Hall, which is home to the VR lab, the Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies program, and the journalism department. People said that the bomb went off at 7:20 p.m. EDT. The same night, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu told the press that she was “very serious” about what had happened.
