Nearly 23 million people from all over the world signed up to get the first set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that the Dubai Police released earlier this year. Through its social media platforms, the police got more than 7,000 direct messages from people who took part.

“All participants were contacted to confirm their digital wallet addresses, and those who met the requirements were put on a shortlist for a raffle. 150 people won the raffle, and the Dubai Police digital assets were given to them for free,” said Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, director of the Dubai Police’s General Department of Artificial Intelligence.
